(EN)An apparatus for transmitting optical signals between a central unit (1) and at least one remote unit (2), said central unit comprising - at least one amplified spontaneous emission source (11, 110) of an optical signal, first means (17, 170) adapted to polarize the optical signal deriving from the amplified spontaneous emission source in a first polarization plane by forming a first polarized optical signal (POS). The apparatus comprises second means (24) configured to receive said first polarized optical signal and to polarize it in a second polarization plane, orthogonal to the first plane, by forming in said first means a second optical signal (SOS) which is orthogonally polarized with respect to the first optical signal (17).
(FR)L’invention porte sur un appareil permettant d'émettre des signaux optiques entre une unité centrale (1) et au moins une unité à distance (2), ladite unité centrale comprenant au moins une source d’émission spontanée amplifiée (11, 110) d’un signal optique, des premiers moyens (17, 170) conçus pour polariser le signal optique provenant de la source d’émission spontanée amplifiée dans un premier plan de polarisation par formation d’un premier signal optique polarisé (POS). L’appareil comprend des seconds moyens (24) configurés pour recevoir ledit premier signal optique polarisé et pour polariser ce dernier dans un second plan de polarisation, orthogonal au premier plan, par formation dans lesdits premiers moyens d’un second signal optique (SOS) qui est polarisé de manière orthogonale par rapport au premier signal optique (17).
