A backlight module (1) and liquid crystal display. The backlight module (1) comprises a plastic frame (4) comprising a first extending portion (7), a second extending portion, and a connecting portion (8) arranged between and connecting the first extending portion (7) and the second extending portion, wherein the first extending portion (7) and the second extending portion are parallel with respect to each other. A light source (9) is provided at the inner side of the connecting portion (8), and a quantum tube (10) for receiving light from the light source (9) is mounted between the respective inner side ends of the first extending portion (7) and the second extending portion. The backlight module (1) stably supports the quantum tube (10), and thus the quantum tube (10) can be used in the liquid crystal display.

La présente invention concerne un module de rétroéclairage (1) et un afficheur à cristaux liquides. Le module de rétroéclairage (1) comporte un cadre en plastique (4) comprenant une première partie d'extension (7), une seconde partie d'extension et une partie de liaison (8) agencée entre la première partie d'extension (7) et la seconde partie d'extension et reliant celles-ci, la première partie d'extension (7) et la seconde partie d'extension étant parallèles l'une par rapport à l'autre. Une source de lumière (9) est disposée sur la face interne de la partie de liaison (8), et un tube quantique (10), pour recevoir une lumière provenant de la source de lumière (9), est monté entre les extrémités latérales internes respectives de la première partie d'extension (7) et de la seconde partie d'extension. Le module de rétroéclairage (1) porte de manière stable le tube quantique (10), et, par conséquent, le tube quantique (10) peut être utilisé dans l'afficheur à cristaux liquides.
