(EN)The present invention relates to a method for delaying fruit maturation by the treatment with sound waves in a particular sound range. More specifically, in the fruit of a plant treated with sound waves, the expression of the ethylene biosynthesis gene is inhibited, and thus the maturity of the fruit is delayed. Therefore, the method of the present invention can be utilized in the freshness preservation and long-term storage of agricultural products after harvest.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé pour retarder la maturation de fruits par traitement avec des ondes sonores dans une gamme sonore particulière. Plus spécifiquement, dans le fruit d'une plante traitée avec des ondes sonores, l'expression du gène de la biosynthèse d'éthylène est inhibée, et ainsi la maturité du fruit est retardée. Par conséquent, le procédé de la présente invention peut être utilisé dans la préservation de la fraîcheur et le stockage à long terme de produits agricoles après la récolte.
