(EN) Disclosed is a video decoding method comprising the steps of: acquiring mode information of a contour for determining at least one segment from a current block; determining whether first coordinates and second coordinates of the contour can be derived from neighboring blocks of the current block, on the basis of the mode information of the contour; determining the at least one segment from the current block on the basis of the first coordinates and the second coordinates, of the contour, which are derived from the neighboring blocks of the current block, when the first coordinates and the second coordinates of the contour can be derived from the neighboring blocks of the current block; and performing prediction on the determined at least one segment.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de décodage vidéo comprenant les étapes suivantes : acquisition d'informations de mode d'un contour permettant de déterminer au moins un segment d'un bloc courant; détermination si des premières coordonnées et des secondes coordonnées du contour peuvent être déduites de blocs voisins du bloc courant, sur la base des informations de mode du contour; détermination du ou des segments à partir du bloc courant sur la base des premières coordonnées et des secondes coordonnées du contour qui sont déduites des blocs voisins du bloc courant, lorsque les premières coordonnées et les secondes coordonnées du contour peuvent être déduites des blocs voisins du bloc courant; et réalisation d'une prédiction sur le ou les segments déterminés.
