(EN)Provided is a pouch-type secondary battery which is a pouch-type secondary battery comprising: an electrode assembly having an electrode tab; an electrode lead connected to the electrode tab; a pouch cover material housing and sealing the electrode assembly such that a portion of the electrode lead is exposed; a first sealant interposed between the top surface of the electrode lead and an inner side surface of the pouch cover material; and a second sealant interposed between the bottom surface of the electrode lead and an inner side surface of the pouch cover material. The electrode lead comprises: a connecting part connected to the electrode tab; a terminal part exposed to the outside of the pouch cover material; and a fuse part between the connecting part and the terminal part. The fuse part comprises: a separating groove including a horizontal slit in the center thereof which is parallel to the width direction of the electrode lead; and a breaking part connected to the separating groove to separate the terminal part from the connecting part. The shapes of the first sealant and the second sealant are different from each other such that when the internal pressure of the secondary battery rises, the deforming force of the pouch cover material acts in directions opposite to the top and bottom surfaces of the electrode lead so that the breaking part breaks.
