According to the present invention, an exhaust purification device for an internal combustion engine (11) is provided with a storage catalyst (21), a sensor (23) and a determination unit (30). The storage catalyst (21) stores predetermined components of the exhaust gas via a storage reaction wherein the predetermined components react with a storage material. The sensor (23) detects information that changes in response to the state of the storage reaction. The determination unit (30) determines a state immediately preceding saturation on the basis of the output of the sensor (23). The state immediately preceding saturation means a state in which the storage amount of the storage catalyst (21) is approaching saturation and the storage reaction is in decline.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de purification de gaz d'échappement destiné à un moteur à combustion interne (11) et équipé d'un catalyseur de stockage (21), d'un capteur (23) et d'une unité de détermination (30). Le catalyseur de stockage (21) stocke des composants prédéterminés du gaz d'échappement par l'intermédiaire d'une réaction de stockage où les composants prédéterminés réagissent avec un matériau de stockage. Le capteur (23) détecte des informations qui changent en réponse à l'état de la réaction de stockage. L'unité de détermination (30) détermine un état précédant immédiatement la saturation sur la base de la sortie du capteur (23). L'état précédant immédiatement la saturation est un état dans lequel la quantité de stockage du catalyseur de stockage (21) est proche de la saturation et dans lequel la réaction de stockage est en déclin.

内燃機関(11)の排気浄化装置は、吸蔵触媒(21)と、センサ(23)と、判定部(30)とを備える。吸蔵触媒(21)は、排出ガス中の所定成分を吸蔵材と反応させる吸蔵反応により所定成分を吸蔵する。センサ(23)は、吸蔵反応の状態に応じて変化する情報を検出する。判定部(30)は、センサ(23)の出力に基づいて飽和直前状態を判定する。飽和直前状態は、吸蔵触媒(21)の吸蔵量が飽和に近付いて吸蔵反応が減少傾向になる状態を意味する。
