Abstract

A fluid exit passage is at a location along a microfluidic channel. A fluid displacement device is proximate the location along the microfluidic channel. A constituent locator distinguishes a target constituent in a fluid within the microfluidic channel from remaining non-target constituents and locate the target constituent proximate the fluid exit passage. A controller selectively actuates the fluid displacement device when the target constituent is proximate the fluid exit passage to discharge the target constituent from the microfluidic channel through the fluid exit passage.

Selon l'invention, un passage de sortie de fluide est situé à un certain emplacement le long d'un canal microfluidique. Un dispositif de déplacement de fluide se trouve à proximité de l'emplacement le long du canal microfluidique. Un dispositif de localisation de constituant distingue un constituant cible dans un fluide à l'intérieur du canal microfluidique de constituants non cibles restants, et localise le constituant cible à proximité du passage de sortie de fluide. Un dispositif de commande actionne sélectivement le dispositif de déplacement de fluide lorsque le constituant cible est à proximité du passage de sortie de fluide, afin d'évacuer le constituant cible du canal microfluidique par le passage de sortie de fluide.
