Abstract

An electrochemical test device for determining a concentration of an analyte in a fluid sample is provided. The electrochemical test device comprises a set of electrodes including a working electrode for the analyte and sensing chemistry for the working electrode, wherein the sensing chemistry is disposed on the working electrode in at least one layer, each layer comprising a diaphorase, an electron transfer agent having a standard redox potential in the range of -0.52 to 0.18 V, an NAD(P)+-dependent dehydrogenase and a cofactor for the NAD(P)+-dependent dehydrogenase.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'essai électrochimique permettant de déterminer une concentration d'un analyte dans un échantillon liquide. Le dispositif d'essai électrochimique comprend un ensemble d'électrodes comprenant une électrode de travail pour l'analyte et une solution chimique de détection pour l'électrode de travail, la solution chimique de détection étant disposée sur l'électrode de travail dans au moins une couche, chaque couche comprenant une diaphorase, un agent de transfert d'électrons présentant un potentiel d'oxydo-réduction standard situé dans la plage allant de -0,52 à 0,18 V, une déshydrogénase dépendante à la NAD(P)+ et un cofacteur pour la déshydrogénase dépendante à la NAD(P)+.
