A dynamic backlight local dimming method for a screen. The method comprises: dividing a screen into multiple subareas and executing the following steps with respect to one subarea among the multiple subareas: (a) determining the maximum grayscale value of a video input signal of the one subarea when a current image frame is being displayed (S10); (b) determining, on the basis of predetermined correlations between multiple grayscale intervals and the brightness of multiple backlight sources, the brightness of the backlight source corresponding to the maximum grayscale value (S20); and (c) dimming the brightness of the backlight source corresponding to the one subarea to the brightness of the backlight source corresponding to the maximum grayscale value (S30). Employment of the dynamic backlight local dimming method allows an improved degree of smoothness in a backlight dimming process and more natural bright/dark transitions for images displayed on the screen.

L'invention concerne un procédé d'assombrissement local de rétroéclairage dynamique pour un écran. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à : diviser un écran en multiples zones secondaires et exécuter les étapes suivantes par rapport à une zone secondaire parmi les multiples zones secondaires : (a) déterminer la valeur d'échelle de gris maximale d'un signal d'entrée vidéo de la zone secondaire lorsqu'une trame d'image actuelle est affichée (S10) ; (b) déterminer, sur la base de corrélation prédéfinies entre de multiples intervalles d'échelle de gris et la luminosité de multiples sources de rétroéclairage, la luminosité de la source de rétroéclairage correspondant à la valeur d'échelle de gris maximale (S20) ; et (c) assombrir la luminosité de la source de rétroéclairage correspondant à la zone secondaire jusqu'à la luminosité de la source de rétroéclairage correspondant à la valeur d'échelle de gris maximale (S30). L'utilisation du procédé d'assombrissement local de rétroéclairage dynamique permet un meilleur degré de lissage dans un processus d'assombrissement de rétroéclairage et des transitions lumière/ombre plus naturelles pour des images affichées sur l'écran.

一种屏幕的动态背光调节方法,所述方法包括,将屏幕划分为多个子区域,针对所述多个子区域中的一个子区域执行以下步骤:(a)确定当前帧图像显示时所述一个子区域的视频输入信号的最大灰阶值(S10);(b)根据预定的多个灰阶区间与多个背光源亮度之间的对应关系,确定所述最大灰阶值所对应的背光源亮度(S20);(c)将所述一个子区域对应的背光源亮度调节至与所述最大灰阶值对应的背光源亮度(S30)。采用上述屏幕的动态背光调节方法,能够使得背光调节过程中的平滑度更好、屏幕显示画面的亮暗过渡更自然。
