Abstract
(EN) In one aspect, a first device determines transmitter location information indicating a location for each of one or more transmitters that provide synchronization signals. The first device inserts the transmitter location information in a time synchronization IE and transmits the time synchronization IE to a second device. The second device receives the transmitter location information from the first device and determines one or more propagation delays of a synchronization signal received from a transmitter based on the transmitter location information received for the transmitter in the IE. The second device uses the determined one or more propagation delays to compensate for a timing difference between the first device and a transmitter of the synchronization signal.
(FR) Dans un aspect, un premier dispositif détermine des informations de localisation d'émetteurs indiquant un emplacement pour chaque émetteur parmi un ou plusieurs émetteurs qui fournissent des signaux de synchronisation. Le premier dispositif insère les informations de localisation d'émetteurs dans un IE de synchronisation temporelle et envoie l'IE de synchronisation temporelle à un deuxième dispositif. Le deuxième dispositif reçoit les informations de localisation d'émetteurs en provenance du premier dispositif et détermine un ou plusieurs temps de propagation d'un signal de synchronisation reçu en provenance d'un émetteur d'après les informations de localisation d'émetteur reçues pour l'émetteur dans l'IE. Le deuxième dispositif utilise le ou les temps déterminés de propagation pour compenser l'effet d'une différence de base de temps entre le premier dispositif et un émetteur du signal de synchronisation.
