Provided is an Fe-based alloy composition whereby a gas atomization method can be applied and a soft magnetic material having an amorphous phase as the main phase thereof formed. The Fe-based alloy composition has a compositional formula FeaSibBcPdXe (a + b + c + d + e = 100 at%). X is any added element and is at least one type selected from the group consisting of Ni, Co, Ti, Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta, Cr, Mo, W, Mn, Re, platinum-group elements, Au, Ag, Cu, Zn, In, Sn, As, Sb, Bi, S, Y, N, O, C, and rare earth elements. The Fe-based alloy composition fulfils the following conditions: 77.5 at% ≤ a ≤ 78.5 at%; 2.2 at% ≤ b ≤ 8.5 × α at%; 2.5 at% ≤ c ≤ 15.4 × α at%; 4.4 at% ≤ d ≤ 15.4 × α at%; 0 at% ≤ e ≤ (1 - α) × (b + c + d); and 0.8 ≤ α ≤ 1.0.

L'invention concerne une composition d'alliage à base de Fe qui permet de former, par mise en oeuvre d'un procédé d'atomisation au gaz, un matériau magnétique doux ayant comme phase principale une phase amorphe. La composition d'alliage à base de Fe présent la formule suivante : FeaSibBcPdXe (a + b + c + d + e = 100% at). X représente un élément ajouté quelconque d'au moins un type d'éléments choisi dans le groupe constitué par Ni, Co, Ti, Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta, Cr, Mo, W, Mn, Re, éléments du groupe du platine, Au, Ag, Cu, Zn, In, Sn, As, Sb, Bi, S, Y, N, O, C, et éléments des terres rares.
