A method of estimating a parameter for fitting a multi-component Taylorgram model (603, 604, 605, 606) to Taylorgram data g(t) is disclosed. The data (601, 602) comprises a multi-component Taylorgram peak or front at t = tr. The method comprises: evaluating a value of an integration or differential of the data; determining the parameter, based on an analytical expression that includes the value of the integral or differential of the data, the parameter corresponding with a physical property of a sample from which the Taylorgram data was obtained.

L’invention concerne un procédé d’estimation d’un paramètre pour ajuster un modèle de Taylorgramme à plusieurs composantes (603, 604, 605, 606) à des données de Taylorgramme g(t). Les données (601, 602) comprennent une crête ou front de Taylorgramme à plusieurs composantes à t=tr. Le procédé consiste : à évaluer une valeur d’une intégration ou d’un différentiel des données ; à déterminer le paramètre, sur la base d’une expression analytique qui comprend la valeur de l’intégrale ou du différentiel des données, le paramètre correspondant à une propriété physique d’un échantillon à partir duquel les données de Taylorgramme ont été obtenues.
