The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a wound fuel cell including a supporting strip (10), an anodic insulating band (20), an H2 diffusion band (30), a band (40) supporting electrochemical cells (41) of which the anodes (A) are on a first side of the supporting band and the cathodes (K) are on a second side of the supporting band, and a corrugated cathodic separating band (50), which includes a step of producing a winding mandrel comprising a device for H2 fluid connection and for electric connection of a first end of the cell and comprising joining a start end of the supporting strip (10) to a holding flange (11, 11a, 11b) rigidly connected to a winding spindle of the cell, the mandrel provided with the holding flange receiving first endings of said supporting strip (10), anodic insulating band (20), H2 diffusion band (30), band (40) supporting electrochemical cells and corrugated cathodic separating band (50), a step of winding the cell for which the tension of the supporting strip between an unwinder and the mandrel is controlled so as to apply a calibrated pressure to the wound layers of the cell. The winding device comprises a mandrel grouping together a supporting flange (11, 11a, 11b) provided with a winding spindle suitable for receiving the supporting strip (10) of the cell, an H2 compartment / electrical connection module (70) for receiving a first start end of the anodic insulating band (20), a first end of the H2 diffusion band (30) and a first end of the band (40) supporting cells (41), provided with a first H2-distributing fluid connection device (60) and a device for electrically connecting a first electrode of a first cell of the supporting band to a first electric contact (61), and a cathode supporting element (74) for receiving the corrugated separating band (50).

L'objet de l'invention est un procédé de fabrication d'une pile à combustible enroulée comprenant un feuillard support (10), une bande isolante anodique (20), une bande de diffusion H2 (30), une bande porteuse (40) de cellules électrochimiques (41) dont les anodes (A) sont d'un premier côté de la bande porteuse et les cathodes (K) d'un second côté de la bande porteuse, et une bande séparatrice cathodique ondulée (50), qui comprend une étape de réalisation d'un mandrin de bobinage comportant un dispositif de raccordement fluidique H2 et de raccordement électrique d'une première extrémité de la pile et comportant l'assemblage d'une extrémité de début du feuillard support (10) avec une bride de maintien (11, 11a, 11b) solidaire d'un axe de bobinage de la pile, le mandrin équipé de la bride de maintien recevant des premières terminaisons desdits feuillard support (10), bande isolante anodique (20), bande de diffusion H2 (30), bande porteuse (40) de cellules électrochimiques et bande séparatrice cathodique ondulée (50), une étape de bobinage de la pile pour laquelle la tension du feuillard support entre un dérouleur et le mandrin est asservie en sorte d'appliquer une pression calibrée sur les couches bobinées de la pile. Le dispositif de bobinage comporte un mandrin regroupant une bride de maintien (11, 11a, 11b) pourvue d'un axe de bobinage adaptée à recevoir le feuillard support (10) de la pile, un module compartiment H2/connexion électrique (70) de réception d'une première extrémité de début de la bande isolante anodique (20), d'une première extrémité de la bande de diffusion H2 (30) et d'une première extrémité de la bande porteuse (40) des cellules (41), pourvu d'un premier dispositif de raccordement fluidique répartiteur H2 (60) et d'un dispositif de connexion électrique d'une première électrode d'une première cellule de la bande porteuse avec un premier contact électrique (61), un élément support cathode (74) de réception de la bande séparatrice ondulée (50).
