Abstract

Ceramic candle filter and use of the filter in the removal of particulate matter in form of soot, ash, metals and metal compounds, together with hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides being present in process off-gas or engine exhaust gas, the filter comprises a combined SCR and oxidation catalyst being arranged on the dispersion side and within wall of the filter; and a palladium comprising catalyst arranged on the permeation side and within wall of the filter facing the permeation side.

L'invention concerne un filtre à bougie en céramique et une utilisation du filtre permettant l'élimination de matière particulaire sous la forme de suie, de cendres, de métaux et de composés métalliques, conjointement avec des hydrocarbures et des oxydes d'azote présents dans le traitement d'un dégagement gazeux ou de gaz d'échappement de moteur, le filtre comprenant un catalyseur d'oxydation et de réduction catalytique sélective (SCR) combinées agencé sur le côté de dispersion et à l'intérieur de la paroi du filtre ; et un catalyseur comprenant du palladium disposé sur le côté de perméation et à l'intérieur de la paroi du filtre faisant face au côté de perméation.
