Abstract

The invention relates to a power package (1) comprising a gas turbine assembly (20) and a piston engine assembly (30), the power package (1) being characterised in that the piston engine assembly (30) is mechanically coupled to the gas turbine assembly (20) between the gas turbine compressor (22) and the turbine (23) and in that the turbine (23) comprises a high-pressure turbine (231) arranged so as to be driven by the exhaust gases from the combustion engine (21) and coupled to the compressor (22), and a power turbine (232) arranged so as to be driven by the exhaust gases from the high-pressure turbine (231) and coupled to a load (50).

La présente invention concerne un groupe de puissance (1) comportant un ensemble turbine à gaz (20) et un ensemble moteur à pistons(30), le groupe de puissance(1) étant caractérisé en ce que l'ensemble moteur à pistons(30) est mécaniquement couplé à l'ensemble turbine à gaz (20) entre le compresseur de turbine à gaz (22) et la turbine (23) et en ce que la turbine (23) comporte une turbine haute-pression(231) agencée pour être entrainée par les gaz d'échappement issus de la chambre de combustion (21) et couplée au compresseur (22), et une turbine de puissance(232) agencée pour être entraînée par les gaz d'échappement issus de la turbine haute-pression(231) et couplée à une charge (50).
