Abstract

The present invention relates to an arc-quenching tube consisting of a homogeneous elongated tubular body, in which the tubular body comprises an arc-quenching compound, a fibrous filler, and a thermoplastic binder. The arc-extinguishing tube of the present invention can be prepared from thermoplastic polymer materials by a simple extrusion or injection molding technique. The present arc-quenching tubes also can substantially reduce cost of manufacturing.

La présente invention concerne un tube d'extinction d'arc constitué d'un corps tubulaire allongé homogène, le corps tubulaire comprenant un composé d'extinction d'arc, une charge fibreuse, et un liant thermoplastique. Le tube d'extinction d'arc de la présente invention peut être préparé à partir de matériaux polymères thermoplastiques par une simple technique de moulage par injection ou extrusion. Les tubes d'extinction d'arc selon la présente invention peuvent également réduire sensiblement les coûts de fabrication.
