Dynamically controlling video capture rate is described. Capture of video of a camera is caused by a device to occur at a first rate for a first collection of images in the video. During the causation of the capture of the video at the first rate, an input is detected by the device to change to a second rate that is different than the first rate. Responsive to the detection of the input, the capture rate is changed from the first rate to the second rate, the capture of the video by the camera is caused to occur at the second rate for a second collection of images of the video, and timestamps of the first collection of images or the second collection of images are transformed to configure the image in the video for output at a substantially uniform rate relative to each other.

La présente invention concerne une commande dynamique de vitesse de capture de vidéo. La capture de vidéo d'une caméra est provoquée par un dispositif de sorte à se produire à une première vitesse pour une première collection d'images dans la vidéo. Lorsque la capture de la vidéo est provoquée à la première vitesse, une entrée est détectée par le dispositif pour passer à une seconde vitesse qui est différente de la première vitesse. En réponse à la détection de l'entrée, la vitesse de capture est changée de la première vitesse à la seconde vitesse, la capture de la vidéo par la caméra est amenée à se produire à la seconde vitesse pour une seconde collection d'images de la vidéo, et des estampilles temporelles de la première collection d'images ou de la seconde collection d'images sont transformées pour configurer l'image dans la vidéo en vue d'une sortie à une vitesse sensiblement uniforme l'une par rapport à l'autre.
