A roadside communication device having a data relay function, wherein the roadside communication device is provided with: a reception unit for receiving mobile data generated by a moving body; a relay unit with which it is possible to relay the mobile data according to a data-amount thinning process; and a transmission unit for transmitting to an external device thinning information that pertains to the implementation status of the thinning process.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de communication en bordure de route ayant une fonction de relais de données, le dispositif de communication en bordure de route comprenant: une unité de réception pour recevoir des données mobiles générées par un corps mobile; une unité relais au moyen de laquelle il est possible de relayer les données mobiles conformément à un processus de réduction de quantité de données; et une unité de transmission pour transmettre à un dispositif externe des informations de réduction qui se rapportent à l'état de mise en oeuvre du processus de réduction.
