The invention relates to a milling tool (1) having a substantially cylindrical tool body (2) and at least one circumferential cutter (3) projecting exclusively radially above the tool body (2). A chip space (4) is associated with said circumferential cutter, and at least one, in particular dish-shaped, portion of the chip space (4) is provided after the cutter (3) at least in the circumferential direction.
