Systems and techniques are provided for automatic security system mode selection. A set of signals may be received from sensors distributed in an environment with a security system. The security system may be in a first mode. An occupancy model may be received. An occupancy estimate may be generated for the environment based on the set of signals from the sensors and the occupancy model. Mode rules may be received. The mode rules associate occupancy estimates with modes of the security system. A second mode for the security system may be determined based on the occupancy estimate and mode rules. The second mode may be different from the first mode. The mode of the security system may be automatically changed from the first mode to the second mode.

L'invention concerne des systèmes et des techniques permettant de sélectionner un mode de système de sécurité automatique. Un ensemble de signaux peut être reçu en provenance de capteurs distribués dans un environnement avec un système de sécurité. Le système de sécurité peut être dans un premier mode. Un modèle d'occupation peut être reçu. Une estimation d'occupation peut être générée pour l'environnement d'après l'ensemble de signaux provenant des capteurs et le modèle d'occupation. Des règles de mode peuvent être reçues. Les règles de mode associent des estimations d'occupation aux modes du système de sécurité. Un second mode pour le système de sécurité peut être déterminé d'après l'estimation d'occupation et les règles de mode. Le second mode peut être différent du premier mode.
