[Problem] The objective of the present invention is to provide an electrode for detecting brain waves with which it is possible to detect brain waves without interference from head hair. [Solution] An electrode which is mounted on a head and which detects brain waves, characterized in that: the electrode is provided with an electrically conductive base member and a plurality of comb-like electrically conductive members installed vertically on the base member, and in that the plurality of comb-like members are arranged along the base member in a direction which intersects the longitudinal direction of the comb-like members, and each of the plurality of comb-like members has a plurality of comb-tooth portions aligned with one another in the longitudinal direction of the comb-like member.

La présente invention vise à fournir une électrode pour détecter des ondes cérébrales, grâce à laquelle il est possible de détecter des ondes cérébrales sans interférence à partir de cheveux. À cet effet, l'invention concerne une électrode qui est montée sur une tête et qui détecte des ondes cérébrales, caractérisée en ce que : l'électrode comprend un élément de base électroconducteur et une pluralité d'éléments électoconducteurs de type peigne installés verticalement sur l'élément de base, et par le fait que la pluralité d'éléments de type peigne sont agencés le long de l'élément de base dans une direction qui coupe la direction longitudinale des éléments de type peigne, et chacun de la pluralité d'éléments de type peigne a une pluralité de parties en dents de peigne alignées les unes avec les autres dans la direction longitudinale de l'élément de type peigne.
