A base station according to a first feature is used in a mobile communication system in which a plurality of functions relating to wireless communication are stipulated. The base station is provided with: a reception unit that receives, from a wireless terminal, arithmetic processing unit information relating to the load condition or attributes of an arithmetic processing unit that is provided to the wireless terminal; a control unit that selects, on the basis of the arithmetic processing unit information, at least one function to be executed by the wireless terminal; and a transmission unit that transmits information indicating the selected function to the wireless terminal.

Une station de base, selon une première caractéristique, est utilisée dans un système de communication mobile dans lequel une pluralité de fonctions associées à une communication sans fil sont stipulées. La station de base comporte : une unité de réception qui reçoit, à partir d’un terminal sans fil, des informations d’unité de traitement arithmétique concernant la condition de charge ou les attributs d’une unité de traitement arithmétique qui est fournie au terminal sans fil ; une unité de commande qui sélectionne, sur la base des informations d’unité de traitement arithmétique, au moins une fonction devant être exécutée par le terminal sans fil ; et une unité de transmission qui transmet des informations indiquant la fonction sélectionnée au terminal sans fil.

 第1の特徴に係る基地局は、無線通信に関する複数の機能が規定された移動通信システムにおいて用いられる。前記基地局は、無線端末に備えられた演算処理部の負荷状況又は属性に関する演算処理部情報を前記無線端末から受信する受信部と、前記演算処理部情報に基づいて、前記無線端末に実行させるべき少なくとも1つの機能を選択する制御部と、前記選択した機能を示す情報を前記無線端末に送信する送信部と、を備える。
