The purpose of the present invention is to provide a novel fluorophore that is excited by a wide band of visible light, and that is capable of emitting near-infrared light of high intensity. Proposed is a fluorophore, characterized by having a crystal phase shown by formula (1): MCuSi2O6 (in the formula, M comprises one or more of Ba, Sr, and Ca), and a crystal phase shown by formula (2): MCuSi4O10 (in the formula, M comprises one or more of Ba, Sr, and Ca), the ratio β of the diffraction peak intensity of MCuSi4O10 to the diffraction peak intensity of MCuSi2O6 in an x-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern obtained by XRD measurement using CuK α rays satisfying the relationship 0 < β ≤ 0.50.

L'objectif de la présente invention concerne un nouveau fluorophore qui est excité par une large bande de lumière visible et qui peut émettre de la lumière infrarouge proche de haute intensité. L'invention concerne un fluorophore, caractérisé en ce qu'il présente une phase cristalline représentée par la formule (1) : MCuSi2O6 (dans la formule, M comprend un ou plusieurs éléments parmi Ba, Sr et Ca) et une phase cristalline représentée par la formule (2) : MCuSi4O10 (dans la formule, M comprend un ou plusieurs éléments parmi Ba, Sr et Ca), le rapport ß de l'intensité d'un pic de diffraction de MCuSi4O10 à l'intensité d'un pic de diffraction de MCuSi2O6 dans un diffractogramme des rayons x (XRD) obtenu par mesure de XRD à l'aide des rayons CuK α satisfaisant à la relation 0 < ß ≤ 0,50.
