The present invention is in the field of nanoparticles, their preparation and their use as pinning centers in superconductors. In particular the present invention relates to nanoparticles comprising an oxide of Sr, Ba, Y, La, Ti, Zr, Hf, Nb, or Ta, wherein the nanoparticles have a weight average diameter of 1 to 30 nm and wherein an organic compound of general formula (I), (II) or (III) or an organic compound containing at least two carboxylic acid groups on the surface of the nanoparticles (I) (II) (III) wherein a is 0 to 5, b and c are independent of each other 1 to 14, n is 1 to 5, f is 0 to 5, p and q are independent of each other 1 to 14, and e and f are independent of each other 0 to 12.

La présente invention concerne le domaine de nanoparticules, leur préparation et leur utilisation comme centres d'ancrage dans des supraconducteurs. En particulier, la présente invention concerne des nanoparticules comprenant un oxyde de Sr, Ba, Y, La, Ti, Zr, Hf, Nb ou Ta, où les nanoparticules ont un diamètre moyen en poids de 1 à 30 nm et où un composé organique de formule générale (I), (II) ou (III) ou un composé organique contenant au moins deux groupements acide carboxylique à la surface des nanoparticules (I) (II) (III) où a est compris entre 0 et 5, b et c sont compris indépendamment l'un de l'autre entre 1 et 14, n est compris entre 1 et 5, f est compris entre 0 et 5, p et q sont compris indépendamment l'un de l'autre entre 1 et 14, et e et f sont compris indépendamment l'un de l'autre entre 0 et 12.
