Abstract

Mechanisms and techniques for managing energy consumption within an energy management system are disclosed. In one embodiment, the energy management system includes a power generator and a management controller that controls activation of a plurality of load devices. The management controller is communicatively coupled to a meter that measures electrical energy transferred between the energy management system and an external power grid. The management controller monitors, using information from the meter, electrical energy transfer between the energy management system and the external power grid and receives a feed]out limit message from the external power grid. The management controller processes the feedout limit message and modifies activation scheduling of at least one of the plurality of load devices based, at least in part, on processing the feed]out limit message.

L'invention concerne des mécanismes et des techniques permettant de gérer la consommation d'énergie dans un système de gestion d'énergie. Dans un mode de réalisation, le système de gestion d'énergie comprend un générateur électrique et un dispositif de commande de gestion qui commande l'activation d'une pluralité de dispositifs de charge. Le dispositif de commande de gestion est couplé de manière à communiquer avec un compteur qui mesure l'énergie électrique transférée entre le système de gestion d'énergie et un réseau électrique externe.
