Abstract

The present invention relates to an electrode material for a sodium-ion battery, in particular, the present invention relates to an electrode material suitable for use as an anode of a sodium-ion battery wherein the electrode material comprises sodium titanate. In an aspect of the present invention, the electrode material comprises a sodium titanate having the formula Na3+xTi3O7, wherein the value of x is defined as -0.5≤ x≤ 0.3, wherein said material is an intermediate phase between Na2Ti3O7 and Na3+xTi3O7.

La présente invention concerne un matériau d'électrode pour batterie sodium-ion, en particulier, la présente invention concerne un matériau d'électrode approprié pour être utilisé comme anode d'une batterie sodium-ion, le matériau d'électrode comprenant du titanate de sodium. Dans un aspect de la présente invention, le matériau d'électrode comprend un titanate de sodium ayant la formule Na3+xTi3O7, la valeur de x étant définie par -0,5 ≤ x ≤ 0,3, ledit matériau étant une phase intermédiaire entre Na2Ti3O7 et Na3+xTi3O7.
