An internal combustion engine (100) provided with a piston (40) formed of an aluminum alloy and having a piston head (41) and a piston skirt (42). At least a portion of the outer circumferential surface of the piston skirt is coated with resin. The piston skirt has forging flow lines. The piston skirt is divided into a pair of skirt sections (42a, 42b) which are positioned so as to sandwich therebetween the cylinder axial line (11a) in the radial direction.

L'invention concerne un moteur à combustion interne (100) pourvu d'un piston (40) formé d'un alliage d'aluminium et ayant une tête de piston (41) et une jupe de piston (42). Au moins une partie de la surface circonférentielle externe de la jupe de piston est revêtue de résine. La jupe de piston a des lignes d'écoulement de forgeage. La jupe de piston est divisée en une paire de sections de jupe (42a, 42b) qui sont positionnées de manière à prendre en sandwich entre elles la ligne axiale de cylindre (11a) dans la direction radiale.
