The present invention relates to an internal-combustion engine, and the objective of the invention is to make it possible to suppress NOx emissions, without using an additional device, in marine areas having strengthened exhaust emission regulations, while making it possible to maintain the output of the engine in other marine areas. This control device is provided with: a combustion system selecting means (44) capable of selecting, while an internal-combustion engine is running, at least a fuel gas diffusion combustion system and a fuel gas premixed combustion system; a fuel injection control means (46) which controls fuel injection in such a way as to achieve a fuel injection mode corresponding to the selected combustion system; and an actual compression ratio changing means (48) which changes the actual compression ratio on the basis of the selected combustion system. If the combustion system is switched to the fuel gas premixed combustion system while the internal-combustion engine is running, the actual compression ratio changing means (48) changes the actual compression ratio to a low compression ratio, and if the combustion system is switched to the fuel gas diffusion combustion system while the internal-combustion engine is running, the actual compression ratio changing means (48) changes the actual compression ratio to a high compression ratio.

La présente invention concerne un moteur à combustion interne. L'objectif de l'invention est de permettre de supprimer les émissions de NOx, sans utiliser de dispositif supplémentaire, dans des zones marines ayant des réglementations d'émissions d'échappement renforcées, tout en permettant de maintenir le rendement-moteur dans d'autres zones marines. Le dispositif de commande de l'invention est équipé : d'un moyen (44) de sélection de système de combustion, apte à sélectionner, pendant qu'un moteur à combustion interne fonctionne, au moins un système de combustion à diffusion des gaz combustibles et d'un système de combustion à pré-mélange de gaz combustibles; d'un moyen (46) de commande d'injection de combustible qui commande l'injection de combustible de sorte à obtenir un mode d'injection de combustible correspondant au système de combustion sélectionné; d'un moyen (48) de modification de rapport de compression réelle qui modifie le rapport de compression réelle sur la base du système de combustion sélectionné. Si le système de combustion est basculé vers le système de combustion à pré-mélange de gaz combustibles tandis que le moteur à combustion interne fonctionne, le moyen (48) de modification de rapport de compression réelle modifie le rapport de compression réelle à un faible rapport de compression et si le système de combustion est basculé vers le système de combustion à diffusion des gaz combustibles tandis que le moteur à combustion interne fonctionne, le moyen (48) de modification de rapport de compression réelle modifie le rapport de compression réelle à un rapport de compression élevé.
