Provided are a liquid crystal panel in which deterioration in viewing angle characteristics can be suppressed when curved from a flat plate shape into a cylindrical shape, and a liquid crystal display device. In the present invention, the bending of a liquid crystal panel causes a relatively large displacement in streaks 38 provided on an alignment film 34. However, the streaks 38 are displaced along the length thereof, and therefore a border line B2 between domains in a pixel P is only displaced in the length direction thereof. Meanwhile, since the displacement in streaks 26 provided on an alignment film 23 is relatively small, a border line B1 between domains is hardly displaced. That is, a change in the area ratio between domains is negligibly small. Therefore, the deterioration in viewing angle characteristics in a liquid crystal panel caused by a significant change in the area ratio between domains can be suppressed.

L'invention concerne un panneau à cristaux liquides, dans lequel la détérioration des caractéristiques d'angle de visualisation peut être supprimée lorsqu'il est incurvé à partir d'une forme de plaque plate en une forme cylindrique, ainsi qu'un afficheur à cristaux liquides. Selon la présente invention, la courbure d'un panneau à cristaux liquides provoque un déplacement relativement important de stries (38) prévues sur un film d'alignement (34). Cependant, les stries (38) sont déplacées le long de la longueur de celui-ci et, par conséquent, une ligne de bordure (B2) entre domaines dans un pixel (P) est uniquement déplacée dans le sens de la longueur de celui-ci. Par ailleurs, étant donné que le déplacement de stries (26) disposées sur un film d'alignement (23) est relativement petit, une ligne de bordure (B1) entre domaines est très peu déplacée. Autrement dit, un changement dans le rapport de surface entre des domaines est insignifiant. Par conséquent, la détérioration dans des caractéristiques d'angle de visualisation dans un panneau à cristaux liquides provoquée par un changement significatif dans le rapport de surface entre des domaines peut être supprimée.

 平板状から円筒面状に湾曲した状態でも視野角特性の悪化を抑制することができる液晶パネル及び液晶表示装置を提供する。 液晶パネルの湾曲に伴う、配向膜34に設けられている筋状部38の位置ずれは比較的大きい。しかしながら、筋状部38は自身の長さ方向に位置ずれするので、画素Pにおけるドメイン同士の境界線B2は自身の長さ方向に位置ずれするだけである。一方、配向膜23に設けられている筋状部26の位置ずれは比較的小さいので、ドメイン同士の境界線B1はほとんど位置ずれしない。つまり、ドメイン同士の面積比の変化は無視することができるほど小さい。故に、ドメイン同士の面積比の大幅な変化に起因する液晶パネルの視野角特性の悪化を抑制することができる。
