A differential device is provided with: an outer case capable of receiving torque and rotating around a shaft; a clutch obtained from an inner case for supporting a differential gear set, and a clutch ring for dynamically engaging with the outer case and moving in the axial direction to disconnectably connect with the inner case to transmit torque from the outer case, the clutch ring having an end that is drawn to the outside of the outer case; a first spring exhibiting an elastic force in the direction to disconnect the clutch ring from the inner case; a second spring exhibiting an elastic force in the direction to connect the clutch ring to the inner case; and an actuator provided with a plunger positioned so as to exert thrust on the end of the clutch ring in the axial direction, and a solenoid, which, when electric power is applied, drives the plunger in the direction to disconnect the clutch ring from the inner case or in the direction to connect the clutch ring to the inner case.

L'invention concerne un dispositif différentiel comprenant : un boîtier externe capable de recevoir un couple et de tourner autour d'un arbre ; un embrayage situé dans un boîtier interne pour supporter un ensemble d'engrenage différentiel, et une bague d'embrayage pour venir dynamiquement en prise avec le boîtier externe et se déplaçant dans la direction axiale pour se connecter de façon déconnectable au boîtier interne afin de transmettre un couple depuis le boîtier externe, la bague d'embrayage ayant une extrémité qui est tirée vers l'extérieur du boîtier externe ; un premier ressort possédant une force élastique dans la direction de déconnexion de la bague d'embrayage du boîtier interne ; un deuxième ressort possédant une force élastique dans la direction de connexion de la bague d'embrayage au boîtier interne ; et un actionneur muni d'un piston positionné de manière à exercer une poussée sur l'extrémité de la bague d'embrayage dans la direction axiale, et un solénoïde qui, lorsque de l'énergie électrique est appliquée, entraîne le piston dans le sens de la déconnexion de la bague d'embrayage du boîtier interne ou dans la direction de connexion de la bague d'embrayage au boîtier interne.
