The invention relates to a liquid formulation for the preparation of a tannin-based thermosetting foam, which contains a mixture of at least one hydrolysable tannin and at least one condensed tannin, lignin, water, a hardener and a surfactant agent. The total quantity of tannins in the formulation is between 8 and 60% by weight, and the quantity of lignin is between 4 and 30% by weight, with respect to the total weight of the formulation. Said formulation makes it possible to prepare a foam, by curing, with advantageous mechanical properties.

L'invention concerne une formulation liquide pour la préparation d'une mousse thermodurcie à base de tanins, qui contient un mélange d'au moins un tanin hydrolysable et d'au moins un tanin condensé, de la lignine, de l'eau, un durcisseur et un agent tensioactif. La quantité totale de tanins dans la formulation est comprise entre 8 et 60 % en poids, et la quantité de lignine est comprise entre 4 et 30 % en poids, par rapport au poids total de la formulation. Cette formulation permet de préparer, par cuisson, une mousse de propriétés mécaniques avantageuses.
