Abstract
(EN) This Mg-Li alloy contains more than 10.50% by mass but 16.00% by mass or less of Li, from 2.00% by mass to 15.00% by mass (inclusive) of Al and 0.03% by mass or more but less than 1.10% by mass of Mn, with the balance made up of Mg and impurities; and the impurities contain Fe at a concentration of 15 ppm or less. If necessary, this Mg-Li alloy also contains at least one M element that is selected from the group consisting of more than 0% by mass but 3.00% by mass or less of Ca, more than 0% by mass but 3.00% by mass or less of Zn, more than 0% by mass but 1.00% by mass or less of Si, more than 0% by mass but 1.00% by mass or less of Y and more than 0% by mass but 5.00% by mass or less of a rare earth metal element having an atomic number of 57-71. This alloy is useful for shaped articles such as automobile components and cases for portable audio devices, digital cameras, mobile phones, notebook computers and the like.
(FR) L’invention concerne un alliage de Mg-Li contenant plus de 10,50 % en masse mais 16,00 % en masse ou moins de Li, de 2,00 % en masse à 15,00 % en masse (inclus) d'Al et 0,03 % en masse ou plus, mais moins de 1,10 % en masse de Mn, le reste étant constitué de Mg et d'impuretés ; et les impuretés contenant du Fe à une concentration de 15 ppm ou moins. Si nécessaire, l'alliage de Mg-Li contient également au moins un élément M qui est choisi parmi le groupe constitué de plus de 0 % en masse mais 3,00 % en masse ou moins de Ca, plus de 0 % en masse mais 3,00 % en masse ou moins de Zn, plus de 0 % en masse mais 1,00 % en masse ou moins de Si, plus de 0 % en masse mais 1,00 % en masse ou moins de Y et plus de 0 % en masse mais 5,00 % en masse ou moins d'un élément métallique de terre rare possédant un nombre atomique de 57 à 71. Cet alliage convient pour des articles façonnés tels que des pièces d'automobile et des boîtiers pour des dispositifs audio portables, des caméras numériques, des téléphones mobiles, des ordinateurs portables et analogue.
