A context-aware personalization system operable with a device such as a smartphone, tablet, personal computer (PC), game console, etc. extracts user interaction patterns from a graph, which is generated using telemetry data points, of a device user's behaviors and interactions. The telemetry data is mined from instrumented applications, operating system, and other components executing on the device. A machine learning pattern recognition algorithm is applied to the behavior and interaction graph to generate a dataset that can include a prioritized list of activities. The list is used to automatically implement personalization of the local device that are tailored to the user while also enabling background agents and processes associated with lower priority applications to be suspended to preserve device resources such as processor cycles, memory, battery power, etc. and increase device performance.

Un système de personnalisation sensible au contexte, pouvant fonctionner avec un dispositif tel qu'un smartphone, une tablette, un ordinateur personnel (PC), une console de jeu etc., extrait des motifs d'interaction utilisateur à partir d'un graphe de comportements et d'interactions d'un utilisateur du dispositif, ledit graphe étant généré au moyen de points de données de télémétrie. Les données de télémétrie sont exploitées à partir d'applications instrumentées, d'un système d'exploitation et d'autres composants s'exécutant sur le dispositif. Un algorithme de reconnaissance de motif d'apprentissage automatique est appliqué au graphe de comportements et d'interactions pour générer un ensemble de données qui peut comprendre une liste priorisée d'activités. La liste est utilisée pour mettre en œuvre automatiquement une personnalisation du dispositif local; qui est adapté à l'utilisateur tout en permettant la suspension d'agents et de processus d'arrière-plan associés à des applications de priorité inférieure afin de préserver les ressources du dispositif, telles que les cycles du processeur, la mémoire, la puissance de la batterie etc., et d'augmenter les performances du dispositif.
