Abstract:
This uninterruptible power supply device (1) supplies AC power to a load (8) from one inverter that is either a first inverter (14) for a first power conversion device (3) or a second inverter (34) for a second power conversion device (4), and supplies AC power to the load (8) from the other inverter when the one inverter is malfunctioning. If DC voltage (VDC2) supplied to the second inverter (34) is higher than a lower limit voltage (VL), the second power conversion device (4) outputs AC voltage within an allowable input voltage range for the load (LDn) as a sinusoidal waveform. If the DC voltage (VDC2) is lower than the lower limit voltage (VL), the second power conversion device (4) outputs AC voltage within the allowable input voltage range for the load (LDn) such that said AC voltage has waveform distortion within an allowable range for the load (LDn).
