(EN)The object of the present invention is a method for treating of wood that is to be used for example in building and furniture construction. In the method dispersion of micro- and/or nanoparticles is applied on wooden surface to form a non-continuous surface layer which allows moisture vapor permeation thus retaining moisture buffer value (MBV) of non-treated wood or even enhancing it. Another object of the invention is a wooden surface having a non-continuous surface layer of micro- and/or nanoparticles obtained by such a method.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de traiter le bois à utiliser, par exemple, dans la construction de bâtiments et la fabrication de mobilier. Dans le procédé selon l'invention, une dispersion de microparticules et/ou de nanoparticules est appliquée sur une surface en bois pour former une couche superficielle non continue qui permet de faire passer la vapeur d'humidité et de conserver ainsi une valeur tampon hydrique (MBV) du bois non traité, voire de l'augmenter. La présente invention concerne également une surface en bois comportant une couche superficielle non continue de microparticules et/ou de nanoparticules obtenue par le procédé selon l'invention.
