(EN)The present invention pertains to the field of medical bioengineering and medicine, and provides an olfactory stimulation system compatible with magnetic resonance environments in that it comprises in its structure elements made of diamagnetic and/or polymeric materials, allowing the valve to be arranged near the sample storage means, and the latter to be arranged near the delivery means or the assessed individual, which reduces transportation delays, achieving more precise results and greater portability. The present invention further provides a method for detecting response signals to olfactory stimuli, with a reduced response time between the moment of release, adjustment or blending of aromatic samples, and the moment when the stimuli are recorded by the individual exposed to the sample.
(FR)La présente invention relève du domaine de l'ingénierie biomédicale et de la médecine, et concerne un système de stimulation olfactive compatible avec des environnements de résonance magnétique étant donné qu'il comprend, dans son agencement, des éléments fabriqués avec des matériaux diamagnétiques et/ou polymères, permettant que la valve soit disposée à proximité du moyen de stockage de l'échantillon, et se trouvant à proximité du moyen de distribution ou de l'individu évalué, ce qui réduit le retard de transport, permettant ainsi d'améliorer la précision des résultats ainsi que la portabilité. La présente invention concerne également un procédé de détection de signaux de réponse à des stimulis olfactifs, avec temps réduit de réponse entre le temps de libération, l'ajustement ou le mélange d'échantillons aromatiques et le temps d'enregistrement de stimulis causés chez l'individu soumis aux échantillons.
(PT)A presente invenção pertence ao campo da Engenharia Biomédica e Medicina e apresenta um sistema para estímulo olfativo compatível com ambientes de Ressonância Magnética por compreender em sua disposição elementos construídos com materiais diamagnéticos e/ou poliméricos, permitindo que a válvula seja disposta próxima ao meio para armazenamento da amostra, e estes próximos ao meio de entrega ou indivíduo avaliado, o que reduz o atraso de transporte, possibilitando resultados mais precisos, além da sua portabilidade. A presente -invenção apresenta, ainda, um processo de detecção de sinais de resposta a estímulos olfativos, com tempo reduzido de resposta entre o tempo de liberação, ajuste ou mistura de amostras aromáticas e o tempo de registro de estímulos causados no indivíduo submetido às amostras.
