(EN)The present invention relates to a process for controlling a combustion engine which is provided with an ignition sensor (20) and of which at least one fuel is compressed natural gas contained in a tank (12) provided with a pressure sensor (21). Upon detecting a supply event in respect of said tank (12), the process includes the following steps - comparing the combustion noise captured by the ignition sensor (20) with the theoretical combustion noise expected for this sensor; - determining a quality grade for the natural gas as a function of the result of the comparison; - applying a revision through control of the engine as a function of said specific quality grade for the natural gas. The present invention also relates to an engine control unit.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé de commande d'un moteur à combustion doté d'un capteur de détonation (20), et dont au moins un carburant est du gaz naturel comprimé contenu dans un réservoir (12) pourvu d'un capteur de pression (21). Lors de la détection d'un événement de remplissage dudit réservoir (12), le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes : - comparaison du bruit de combustion capté par le capteur de détonation (20) avec le bruit de combustion théorique prévu pour ce capteur; - détermination d'une classe de qualité pour le gaz naturel en fonction du résultat de la comparaison; - application d'une révision par la commande du moteur en fonction de ladite classe de qualité déterminée pour le gaz naturel. La présente invention concerne également une unité de commande de moteur.
(PT)A presente invenção refere-se a um processo de controle de um motor de combustão munido de um sensor de detonação (20) e cujo ao menos um combustível é gás natural comprimido contido em um tanque (12) munido de um sensor de pressão (21). Logo depois de detectar um evento de abastecimento do dito tanque (12), o processo inclui as seguintes etapas: - comparar o ruído de combustão captado pelo sensor de detonação (20) com o ruído de combustão teórico esperado para esse sensor; - determinar uma classe de qualidade para o gás natural em função do resultado da comparação; - aplicar uma revisão pelo controle do motor em função da dita classe de qualidade determinada para o gás natural. A presente invenção também se refere a uma unidade de controle de motor.
