(EN)The object of the present invention is to provide a high-performance exhaust gas purifying catalyst that can achieve oxygen absorption/release capacity and NOx purification performance. The object is solved by an exhaust gas purifying catalyst, which comprises a ceria-zirconia composite oxide having a pyrochlore-type ordered array structure in the upstream part of the catalyst coating layer, in which the ceria-zirconia composite oxide contains at least one additional element selected from the group consisting of praseodymium, lanthanum, and yttrium at 0.5 to 5.0 mol % of the total cation amount, and has a molar ratio of (cerium + the additional element) : (zirconium) of 43 : 57 to 48 : 52.
(FR)L'objet de la présente invention consiste à fournir un catalyseur de purification de gaz d'échappement haute performance pouvant posséder une capacité d'absorption/de libération de l'oxygène et des performances de purification des NOx. L'objectif est atteint grâce à un catalyseur de purification de gaz d'échappement, qui comprend un oxyde composite oxyde de cérium-oxyde de zirconium ayant une structure en réseau ordonnée de type pyrochlore dans la partie située en amont de la couche de revêtement catalytique, où l'oxyde composite oxyde de cérium-oxyde de zirconium contient au moins un élément supplémentaire choisi dans le groupe constitué par le praséodyme, le lanthane, et l'yttrium à raison de 0,5 à 5,0 % en moles de la quantité totale de cations, et a un rapport molaire (cérium + l'élément supplémentaire):(zirconium) de 43:57 à 48:52.
