(EN)The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for combustion by chemical-loop oxidation reduction (CLC) of a gaseous hydrocarbon feedstock, for example natural gas consisting essentially of methane. According to the invention, catalytic steam reforming of the feedstock is carried out between two consecutive steps of combustion of the feedstock in contact with an oxidation-reduction active mass in particle form. The reforming catalyst is placed in a fixed bed in a reforming zone (130) between the two reduction zones (120, 140) in which the two combustion steps are performed.
(FR)L'invention porte sur un procédé et une installation de combustion par oxydo-réduction en boucle chimique (CLC) d'une charge hydrocarbonée gazeuse, par exemple du gaz naturel comprenant essentiellement du méthane. Selon l'invention un vaporéformage catalytique de la charge est effectué entre deux étapes successives de combustion de la charge au contact d'une masse active oxydo-réductrice sous forme de particules. Le catalyseur de reformage est placé en lit fixe dans une zone de reformage (130) intermédiaire aux deux zones de réduction (120,140) dans lesquelles sont réalisées les deux étapes de combustion.
