(EN)The present invention provides the use of selected thermogelling polymers for the purpose of growing tumor spheroids. The invention provides a thermogelling platform comprising a synthetic polymer which, when seeded with cancer cells, induces the cells to grow into a natural spheroidal pattern forming a tumor spheroid. After accomplishing this in about 3-10 days, the gel washes away, leaving behind the spheroids.
(FR)La présente invention concerne l'utilisation de polymères thermogélifiants sélectionnés à des fins de croissance de sphéroïdes tumoraux. L'invention concerne une plate-forme thermogélifiante comprenant un polymère synthétique qui, lorsqu'elle est ensemencée avec des cellules cancéreuses, induit la croissance des cellules en un motif sphéroïdal naturel formant un sphéroïde tumoral. Après l'accomplissement de ceci en environ 3 à 10 jours, le gel s'élimine, en laissant les sphéroïdes.
