A method of heave compensation between a floating installation (11A), which has a drilling floor (11), and at least a riser (13) or a pipe (7) extending down towards, possibly through, a blowout preventer (16), the method including the steps of - installing an electromechanical actuator (1) with attachment points, in the form of an end cap (23) and an anchoring point (37), between the floating installation (11A) and a suspension device (3) for the riser (13) or the pipe (7); connecting the electromechanical actuator (1) to a power supply (46) and a control system (42); and - heave-compensating for the relative displacement between the floating installation and the riser (13) or the pipe (7) by letting the control system adjust the length and power output of the electromechanical actuator (1).

L'invention concerne un procédé de compensation du tangage entre une installation flottante (11A), qui comprend un plancher de forage (11), et au moins une colonne montante (13) ou un tuyau (7) qui s'étend vers le bas vers, éventuellement à travers, un obturateur anti-éruption (16), le procédé comprenant les étapes suivantes : installation d'un actionneur électromécanique (1) avec des points de fixation, sous la forme d'un capuchon d'extrémité (23) et d'un point d'ancrage (37), entre l'installation flottante (11A) et un dispositif de suspension (3) pour la colonne montante (13) ou le tuyau (7); connexion de l'actionneur électromécanique (1) à une alimentation électrique (46) et un système de commande (42); et compensation du tangage pour le déplacement relatif entre l'installation flottante et la colonne montante (13) ou le tuyau (7) en laissant le système de commande ajuster la longueur et la puissance de sortie de l'actionneur électromécanique (1).
