(EN)Agricultural residues (biomasses) have come-up as potential valuable renewable resources for transformation into many bio-products. To achieve this goal, the isolation of major biopolymers in their purest form through an economical process is demanded for synthesis of the target fine chemicals without impurities. However, the difficulty of fractionating the biomass into cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin by a simple method has greatly limited their isolation from agricultural residues. Also, the lipids and waxes present on the surface of the agricultural residues protect it from external chemical and microbial agents. To overcome this issue, the lipids and waxes have been isolated from the biomass through two step organic solvents extraction. Thereafter lignin, hemicellulose and cellulose are isolated successively from the de-waxed biomass.
(FR)Les résidus agricoles (biomasses) sont devenus des ressources renouvelables potentiellement valables pour la transformation en nombreux bio-produits. Pour atteindre ce but, l'isolement de biopolymères majeurs sous leur forme la plus pure à travers un procédé économique de synthèse de produits de chimie fine cibles sans impuretés est requis. Cependant, la difficulté de fractionner la biomasse en cellulose, hémicellulose et lignine par un procédé simple a grandement réduit leur isolement des résidus agricoles. Également, les lipides et les cires présents à la surface des résidus agricoles les protègent des agents chimiques et microbiens externes. Pour surmonter ce problème, les lipides et les cires ont été isolés de la biomasse à travers une extraction par solvants organiques en deux étapes. Ensuite, la lignine, l'hémicellulose et la cellulose sont isolées successivement de la biomasse déparaffinée.
