Provided are a liquid crystal panel drive method, and a liquid crystal panel using said drive method for driving, comprising: a liquid crystal panel is provided, said liquid crystal panel comprising a plurality of pixel cells (5a, 5b); each pixel cell (5a, 5b) at least comprises a green subpixel (52) and a blue subpixel (53); the liquid crystal panel is divided into a plurality of display units (4), each display unit (4) comprising a first pixel cell (5a) and a second pixel cell (5b), which are adjacent to each other; the grayscale values B and G of the blue subpixel (53) and the green subpixel (52), which are required by the display units (4), are divided into the grayscale value combination BH and BL and the grayscale value combination GH and GL, which are provided to the first pixel cell (5a) and the second pixel cell (5b), respectively, such that at an oblique viewing angle, the brightness curves of the blue subpixel (53) and the green subpixel (52) of the display units (4) approach a predetermined Gamma (γ) curve, wherein γ=1.8 to 2.4.
