Title: CARBON MATERIAL-BASED POWER GENERATION DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
Abstract:
A carbon material-based power generation device and a method for manufacturing the power generation device. The device comprises a power generation assembly and a volatile liquid (14), wherein the power generation assembly comprises an electrically insulated carrier plate (11), a first electrode and a second electrode (12) arranged on the surface of the carrier plate without intersecting with each other, and a carbon material layer (13) integrally deposited between the two electrodes (12) and forming a conductive path together with the two electrodes (12); one end of the carbon material layer (13) is constantly immersed in the volatile liquid (14), while the other end is exposed to an environment outside of the surface of the volatile liquid (14); a potential difference is created between the first electrode and the second electrode (12) by use of the difference of interactions between the carbon material and the liquid within different areas between the two electrodes (12) while being gasified and separated. The device can achieve sustained higher voltage and electric power output by effectively utilizing the interactions between the volatile liquid (14) and the carbon material, and is particularly suitable for specific applications without light illumination or without the need of external mechanical movement.
