Abstract:
(EN) This discloses apparatuses for cooling individual server racks or electrical enclosures. These devices maintain target enclosure temperatures within plus or minus 1 or 2 degrees F. The devices employ industrial cooling using staged cooling towers to evaporatively reach temperatures below the wet bulb temperature of the ambient air. Methods for using such apparatuses are disclosed as well.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des appareils permettant de refroidir des baies de serveur individuelles ou des enceintes électriques individuelles. Ces dispositifs maintiennent des températures d'enceinte cibles dans les limites de plus ou moins 1 ou 2 degrés F.Les dispositifs utilisent le refroidissement industriel au moyen de tours de refroidissement étagées pour atteindre, par évaporation, des températures inférieures à la température de bulbe humide de l'air ambiant. L'invention concerne également des procédés pour utiliser de tels appareils.
