Abstract:
(EN) The present invention discloses a fast and selective process for the preparation of γ- valerolactone (Gvl) by catalytic hydrogenation of biomass-derived levulinic acid (LA) using recyclable ruthenium (Ru)-based heterogeneous catalysts in aqueous medium in stoichiometric yields (~100%) under mild reaction conditions using nearly required amount of hydrogen.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé rapide et sélectif de préparation de γ-valérolactone (Gvl) par hydrogénation catalytique d'acide lévulinique issu de la biomasse à l'aide de catalyseurs hétérogènes recyclables à base de ruthénium (Ru), dans un milieu aqueux, selon des rendements stœchiométrique (~ 100 %) et dans des conditions réactionnelles modérées en utilisant pratiquement la quantité requise d'hydrogène.
