Abstract:
The invention relates to a cylindrical reactor (R) with a vertical longitudinal axis for carrying out heterogeneously catalyzed gas-phase reactions by converting a gaseous educt stream into a product gas mixture, comprising a cylindrical reactor jacket (RM) and a concentric inner cylinder (I), which divides the reactor inner chamber into an outer annular chamber (RR) and a central inner chamber (IR). In-built heterogeneous catalytic converters are provided in the outer annular chamber (RR), comprising a supply line (1) for the gaseous educt stream in an inlet segment (ES) of the outer annular chamber (RR) in addition to a discharge line (2) for the product gas mixture from the outlet segment (AS) of the outer annular chamber (RR). The inlet segment (ES) and the outlet segment (AS) are separated from each other in a gas-tight manner.
