Abstract:
(EN) A system and method are described herein for controlling an environment around an inlet tube in the glass manufacturing system. More specifically, the system and method control a level of hydrogen within a humid gas mixture that flows over an exterior of the inlet tube to effectively suppress the formation of undesirable gaseous inclusions in molten glass that flows through the inlet tube.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé permettant de réguler l'environnement autour d'un tube d'arrivée dans un système de fabrication de verre. Plus particulièrement, le système et le procédé régulent une teneur en hydrogène à l'intérieur d'un mélange gazeux humide qui circule sur une partie extérieure du tube d'arrivée, de façon à supprimer efficacement la formation d'inclusions gazeuses indésirables dans le verre fondu qui circule à travers le tube d'arrivée.
