Abstract:
This utility model relates to a remote controller for electronic devices for persons with arthritis or hand mobility problem comprising a housing having an upper and lower shells, a plurality of different slots provided to said upper shell and adapted to receive different sizes of push buttons, and a printed circuit board with electronic parts disposed inside said housing in communication with said push buttons, characterized in that said push buttons includes at least one channel -up/down button and a volume-up/down button rockably inserted to respective slots on said upper shell, each of said channel-up/down and volume-up/down buttons being provided with a plurality of ridges along the peripheral edges thereof such that said user can scan or change the program to a lower channel and shifting back or scanning back towards the higher channel without the user changing the position of his hand and thumb to reach the opposing end of the channel-up/down button. The user, who is suffering from arthritis or any reduced finger dexterity illness, can change the program by just lifting with his thumb the rear portion of said channel-up/down button with ease in shifting the scanning operation from the lower channels to the upper channels.
