Title: BIAXIALLY STRETCHED POLYPROPYLENE FILM FOR CAPACITOR
Abstract:
Provided are: a thin biaxially stretched polypropylene film for capacitors, the film having excellent initial voltage resistance and excellent long-term heat resistance and voltage resistance; and said capacitor polypropylene film that has been metallized. The present invention is a polypropylene film for capacitors obtained by biaxially stretching polypropylene resin, wherein the crystallite size determined from the half-width of the α-crystal (040) plane reflection peak measured by wide angle X-ray diffraction using the Scherrer equation is not more than 122 Å, and birefringence ∆Nyz with respect to the thickness direction determined by measuring optical birefringence is 7.0 × 10-3 to 10.0 × 10-3.
